This is a revised set of parameters for uploading your images – its pretty simple and should fix some image sizing problems on the site…
You format the images exactly as you did before with some size changes — Namely the size of the long side of the image – if the horizontal or the vertical is the longer side – you need to size that side to be 2050px…

- You are cropping some images to be squarish – almost 1×1 – you have your reasons which is cool but these images would benefit from some extra pixels when being displayed or cropped for use as a slider… Example – if an image is
The original iamge with almot a 1 to 1 ratio – we want the long edge to be uniform for the website to be able to crop and size the image…

This image is processed theough TinyPNG.com ans is only 370k vs the 540k of the 1500px opriginal image… - I conceed tha there are some images that must be taken vertically vs horizontally and you know better than I being the actual photographer – so the above rule applies for this as well – make the long edge (in this case the tall edge) be 2050px – the other edge can be whatever…
